Naima Humaira Rum Wins Diamond Award at the 2025 Indonesia Winter Music Festival

[Jakarta, January 16, 2025] – A proud achievement has once again been attained by Naima Humaira Rum at the prestigious Indonesia Winter Music Festival (IWMF) 2025. In this online competition, Naima earned the Diamond Award in the Piano Classic F category. She is an undergraduate student of the English Literature Program, Faculty of Humanities, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman (Unsoed).

The Indonesia Winter Music Festival is a music competition joined by talented musicians from various countries. This year’s event once again captured attention with its panel of adjudicators from diverse professional musical backgrounds. The judges included Vivianne Laurence, Matthew Hansel, Fennia Trilesetari, Steve Pope, Lee Xin Yi Joyce, and Sarita Marcellina, with Yuberg Andro serving as the Executive Director of the festival.

Naima’s success in winning the Diamond Award demonstrates her exceptional talent in classical piano performance. With mature technique and deep musical interpretation, she impressed the adjudicators and earned the highest distinction in her category.

The festival was organized by FA.SE Event Organizer and supported by several prominent sponsors, including Rhapsodie.co, WINtea, FIMO, Sewa Alat Musik, Asia TEF, and CHAMOS Universe. Events like this provide a platform for young and talented musicians to showcase their abilities on an international stage.

Naima’s selection in this competition has also led her to become a finalist The Champs Universal Music Festival (CUMF) in Penang, Malaysia in May 2025, as well as a finalist in the Asia Talent and Education Festival in Danang, Vietnam, which will be held in June 2025.  The Champs Universal Music Festival (CUMF) Penang is an international music and performing arts festival and competition held in Malaysia, offering a platform for musicians and performers of all ages to present their talents in various categories, including piano, vocal, drums, and other solo instruments.

Naima Humaira Rum’s achievement is expected to inspire young musicians and students who are passionate about music to continue developing their talents. The Diamond Award is not only a personal milestone but also proof that Indonesian musical talent can compete on a global level.
