Purwokerto – Fakultas Ilmu Budaya Universitas Jenderal Soedirman (FIB Unsoed) once again held the 161st Yudisium Ceremony as part of the Unsoed Graduation series for the June 2026 period. Held on May 25, 2026, the event took place in a hybrid format at the Aula Gedung D FIB Unsoed, allowing participants to attend either in person or online.
The yudisium ceremony is one of the important stages in a student’s academic journey before graduation. The event was attended by the faculty leadership, including the Dean of FIB Unsoed, Prof. Dr. Ely Triasih Rahayu, S.S., M.Hum.; Vice Dean I, Dr. Chusni Hadiati, S.S., M.Hum.; Vice Dean II, Dra. Sri Nani Hariyanti, S.S., M.Hum.; and Vice Dean III, Kuntarto, S.Ag., M.Pd.I.
Also present were the heads of departments and study program coordinators, namely Dr. Dyah Tjaturrini, S.S., M.Si. (Head of the East Asian Department), Dr. Siti Junawaroh, S.S., M.Hum. (Head of the Indonesian Literature Department), Etin Pujihastuti, S.S., M.Pd. (Head of the Language Education Department), Dr. Lynda Susana Widya Ayu F., S.S., M.Hum. (Head of the English Literature Department), and the study program coordinators of FIB Unsoed.
During the ceremony, the Dean of FIB Unsoed, on behalf of the Rector of Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, signed the Yudisium Decree (SK Yudisium) and the students’ graduation statements. In this period, 111 FIB Unsoed students were officially declared graduates and are eligible to attend the Unsoed Graduation in June 2026.
The graduates consist of 24 students from the English Literature Study Program, 23 from Indonesian Literature, 10 from Japanese Literature, 28 from Indonesian Language Education, 12 from English Language Education, 4 from D3 English, and 10 from D3 Mandarin.
Of all yudisium participants, 84 students graduated with the Cum Laude (With Honors) predicate, while 27 students received the Very Satisfactory predicate. The top achievement in this period went to Uliyanti Mayhani (NIM J1A022027) from the English Literature Study Program with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.97, making her the best graduate of FIB Unsoed at the 161st Yudisium.
Besides the graduation confirmation, the event included an Alumni Tracer Study session aimed at mapping graduates’ success in the workplace and the business world. It then continued with a Briefing for FIB Unsoed Prospective Graduates featuring Herman Indartono, A.Md., CEO of PT Saskara Putera Nusantara. In his session titled “Challenges of the Working World When Reality Does Not Match Your Job Description” (“Tantangan Dunia Kerja Ketika Realita Tak Sesuai Tupoksi”), the speaker shared insights on career adaptation, competence development, and the importance of being prepared for the dynamics of the professional world.
Through this event, FIB Unsoed continues to demonstrate its commitment to producing excellent, adaptable graduates who are ready to compete at both national and global levels.
