Purwokerto, June 12, 2025 — In an effort to improve educational quality and academic governance, Fakultas Ilmu Budaya Universitas Jenderal Soedirman (FIB Unsoed) held a Follow-up Meeting (RTL) for Study Programmes and Study Programme Management Units (UPPS) on June 11–12, 2025. This activity is an important part of the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) cycle to follow up on findings from Internal Quality Audit (AMI) and Management Review Meeting (RTM).
This year’s RTL implementation was coordinated by the Quality Assurance Cluster (GPM) of FIB Unsoed and was attended by eight study programmes and ten units at the UPPS level, including academic fields, laboratories, MBKM, and the Scientific Information Center.
The first day of RTL (June 11, 2025) focused on evaluation and follow-up at the study programme level, covering S1 Sastra Indonesia, S1 Sastra Inggris, S1 Sastra Jepang, S1 Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia, S1 Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris, S1 Pendidikan Bahasa Jepang, D3 Bahasa Inggris, and D3 Bahasa Mandarin. Meanwhile, the second day (June 12, 2025) focused on RTL audits at the UPPS level, including academic and planning fields, general and finance, student affairs and cooperation, as well as various laboratories and information centers.
Ika Maratus Sholikhah, S.S., M.A., Chair of GPM FIB Unsoed, stated that RTL is not only a form of evaluation, but also an important foundation for establishing new, higher quality standards. “This meeting aims to ensure that AMI findings are truly followed up concretely and measurably by each unit and study programme,” she said.
Dean of FIB Unsoed, Prof. Dr. Ely Triasih Rahayu, S.S., M.Hum., in his remarks emphasized that RTL is a form of collective commitment to maintaining and improving the quality of educational, research, and community service. “We hope that RTL becomes a strategic step to address quality challenges in an era of change and global competition,” he explained.
Numerous concrete improvements have been demonstrated by various study programmes and UPPS units, ranging from curriculum adjustments based on OBE, increased certification of faculty and education staff, to updates of quality documents and learning support facilities.
Through this activity, FIB Unsoed demonstrates its seriousness in implementing the PPEPP cycle (Establishment, Implementation, Evaluation, Control, and Improvement), to support the achievement of the institution’s vision as an excellent faculty with national and international competitiveness.
