Friday, May 16, 2025 – Students from the D3 Bahasa Inggris study programme, 2023 cohort, have completed Table Manners and Restaurant Services training for one of the courses offered by the programme, namely English for Hotel and Restaurant. The activity took place at Hotel Elsotel Purwokerto.
Objectives of this activity:
Enhance students’ knowledge, skills, and attitudes in the hospitality industry.
Prepare students for hospitality internships both domestically and internationally.

The Table Manners and Restaurant Services training was conducted by Priyanto Adi Saputro, Assistant Manager of FnB at Hotel Elsotel, who served as the resource person with extensive hospitality experience since 2011. He delivered material to the students covering history, menu, service, and detailed table manner topics. The students followed his guidance while listening to explanations on basic etiquette during the Table Manner event, followed by an interactive and informative Q&A session.
Following participation in this activity, students are expected to gain valuable knowledge and be able to apply effectively what they have learned during their future internships. Before closing the event, the students, lecturers, and all involved parties took a group photograph.
