The Pendidikan Bahasa Jepang (PBJ) Study Programme sent two representatives to participate in a series of activities at the OSIP Forum 2025, organized by the PBJ programme’s cooperative partners, Convi, Co., Ltd., and PT. Orion Harmoni Mandala (OHM). Dian Bayu Firmansyah, S.Pd., MPd., and Yudi Suryadi, S.Pd., M.Pd., departed together with a delegation of lecturers from various universities that have collaborated with the partners to participate in various scheduled activities. A total of 16 lecturers arrived at Kansai International Airport in Osaka on Thursday, February 20, 2025 and were immediately welcomed by staff from the partners.

Bayu sensei, who is also the head of cooperation for the PBJ study programme and a member of the Fakultas Ilmu Budaya’s International Cooperation (KLN) team, explained that “The OSIP Forum activity is a manifestation of cooperation that supports the implementation of the university’s tri-dharma, because in addition to being a student internship activity program, it can also serve as a venue for dissemination of lecturer research results, as well as the implementation of community service activities,” he said. In this year’s participation, Bayu sensei and Yudi sensei were accompanied by Nisa Roiyasa, S.PD., M.TESOL., who is a member of the FIB’s International Cooperation team and also played a role in initiating the internship cooperation between Convi, Co., Ltd., and Unsoed. Nisa stated that “The reputation of the OSIP program at FIB is very good, so it is necessary to conduct further exploration so that in the future more FIB students can participate in the OSIP program, from all study programmes.” Meanwhile, Yudi sensei said that, “The opportunity to participate in the OSIP Forum will also be a venue to update information about Japan, and will also serve as a means to update learning media, particularly concerning authentic material-based learning media, for Nihonjijo lectures.”
Given the packed agenda of the OSIP Forum 2025 activities that the three of them will participate in, it is hoped that it will provide greater benefits for the PBJ study programme in particular, and Unsoed in general.
