Purwokerto – Fakultas Ilmu Budaya Universitas Jenderal Soedirman (FIB Unsoed) through the Publication Laboratory Team successfully held a Workshop and Mentoring session on DRTPM 2025 Community Service Proposal Development. The online event conducted via Zoom Meeting took place from 09.00 – 11.00 WIB and featured Dr. Laili as the main speaker.
The workshop was officially opened by the Dean of FIB Unsoed, Prof. Dr. Ely Triasih Rahayu, SS., M.Hum, who in her remarks emphasized the importance of community service activities as part of the implementation of the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi (Three Pillars of Higher Education). “Through this workshop, it is hoped that lecturers can develop community service proposals with higher quality and greater opportunities to obtain funding from DRTPM,” said Dr. Ely. She also stressed that activities like this will continue to be encouraged to enhance the capacity of lecturers in research and community service.
As the main speaker, Dr. Laili Etika Rahmawati, S.Pd., M.Pd. discussed various important aspects in developing community service proposals, ranging from administrative requirements, writing techniques in accordance with DRTPM standards, to strategies for increasing the chances of successfully passing the funding selection. Additionally, she explained the various funding schemes available and how lecturers can tailor their community service topics to meet community needs.
During the question and answer session, many participants raised questions regarding the technical aspects of proposal development, including how to align the community service outputs with DRTPM expectations. Dr. Laili answered in detail and provided examples of proposals that successfully obtained funding. This is expected to help participants understand more effective strategies in developing their proposals.
Beyond the presentation session, the workshop was also complemented with direct mentoring, where participants had the opportunity to consult regarding the proposals they are currently developing. Active interaction between participants and the speaker demonstrated high enthusiasm from the lecturers in preparing competitive proposals.
With the successful implementation of this workshop, it is hoped that more community service proposals from FIB Unsoed will successfully secure DRTPM funding in 2025. This activity also serves as evidence of the faculty’s commitment in supporting the improvement of research quality and community service by academics. The workshop marks a step forward in strengthening academic culture and FIB Unsoed’s contribution in providing tangible benefits to the wider community.
