Purwokerto, August 23, 2024 – In commemoration of the 79th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, Fakultas Ilmu Budaya (FIB) Universitas Jenderal Soedirman (Unsoed) organized a series of competitions involving faculty members and staff within the faculty. The event, held at the courtyard of Gedung Sri Wahyuti, aimed to strengthen the spirit of unity and celebrate independence in an enjoyable manner.
The competitions featured various types of activities that tested the coordination and creativity of participants, including Yel-yel Competition, Blind-Folded Line Formation Competition, Water Throwing in Plastic Bags Competition, and Block Board Relay Displacement Competition. Each competition was designed to add excitement and foster team spirit among FIB Unsoed faculty members and staff.
Before the competitions began, the event started with group aerobics participated by all attendees. This group aerobics session aimed to build coordination and warm up the atmosphere before entering the competition activities.
The competition activities began at 07:00 WIB and took place at the courtyard of Gedung Sri Wahyuti, which served as a strategic location for this event. All participants enthusiastically took part in each competition, demonstrating their spirit and creativity in every contest.
This activity served not only as a celebration of independence, but also as an opportunity to strengthen relationships among faculty members, create precious moments, and enhance the spirit of unity in a cheerful and joyful atmosphere.
