Purwokerto, July 21, 2024 – The Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia Study Programme at Universitas Jenderal Soedirman (Unsoed) has just completed a field assessment by the Independent Accreditation Agency for Education (LAMDIK) on July 19-20, 2024. The assessment was attended by two distinguished assessors, namely Prof. Dr. Maman Suryaman, M.Pd., and Prof. Dr. Dyah Werdiningsih, M.Pd., who conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the study programme.
The field assessment was also attended by all members of the Study Programme Management Unit Team from Fakultas Ilmu Budaya (FIB) Unsoed, all lecturers from the Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia Study Programme, as well as the Dean of FIB, Dr. Ely Triasih Rahayu, S.S., M.Hum., and her staff. Additionally, the Head of the Learning Development and Educational Quality Assurance Institute (LP3M), Ir. Juni Sumarmono, M.Sc., Ph.D., IPU, ASEAN.Eng., the FIB GPM Team, and all other relevant parties also participated in this activity.
During the two-day implementation, the LAMDIK assessors conducted various assessment activities, including facility observations, interviews with lecturers and students, and review of academic and administrative documents. Prof. Dr. Maman Suryaman, M.Pd., stated that this assessment aims to ensure that the Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia Study Programme at Unsoed meets the educational quality standards established by LAMDIK.
Prof. Dr. Dyah Werdiningsih, M.Pd., added that the results of this assessment will serve as an important reference for the development and improvement of educational quality in the study programme. “We hope this assessment can provide constructive input for improvement and continuous quality enhancement,” she said.
The Dean of FIB, Dr. Ely Triasih Rahayu, S.S., M.Hum., in her remarks expressed gratitude and high appreciation to the assessors and all teams involved in this assessment process. She also emphasized FIB Unsoed’s commitment to continuously improving the quality of education and academic services in order to achieve better accreditation.
The Head of LP3M, Ir. Juni Sumarmono, M.Sc., Ph.D., IPU, ASEAN.Eng., also emphasized the importance of this assessment in the context of educational quality assurance at Unsoed. “This assessment is part of our effort to ensure that each study programme at Unsoed can provide high-quality education in accordance with national and international standards,” he said.
With the completion of this field assessment, it is hoped that the Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia Study Programme at Unsoed can obtain excellent accreditation results and further strengthen Unsoed’s position as one of the leading universities in Indonesia. This assessment result will also serve as the basis for the study programme to continue making improvements and innovations in order to produce graduates who are competent and ready to compete at both national and international levels.
