Purwokerto, June 27, 2024 – The Sastra Inggris Study Programme at Universitas Jenderal Soedirman (Unsoed) conducted a comparative study visit to the Sastra Inggris Study Programme at Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES). This activity aimed to strengthen cooperation between the two institutions in curriculum development and preparation for international accreditation.
The activity, held at Kampus Sekaran, Gunungpati, Semarang, began with a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) that discussed curriculum and international accreditation. The event was attended by faculty members and staff from both study programmes.
In an official statement, Dr. Rahayu Puji Haryanti, M.Hum., Coordinator of the Sastra Inggris Study Programme at UNNES, stated that this activity is important for improving educational quality and ensuring that the implemented curriculum meets international standards. “We hope that this discussion can result in a deeper understanding of the curriculum development process and accreditation assessment,” she said.
From Unsoed’s side, Dyah Raina Purwaningsih, S.S., M.Hum., as Coordinator of the Sastra Inggris Study Programme, stated that this cooperation is a strategic step to advance the study programme and improve graduate quality. “We are committed to continuously learning and adapting to changes and global demands in higher education,” said Dyah.
