Purwokerto, April 16, 2024 – Fakultas Ilmu Budaya (FIB) Universitas Jenderal Soedirman (Unsoed) held a silaturahim (social gathering) attended by the entire FIB community. The event, themed “Halal Bihalal and Retirement Farewell,” was organized as a form of appreciation and recognition for the dedication and contributions made by all FIB members, both those currently active and those entering retirement.
The festive gathering was attended by the dean, vice deans for academic affairs, general and financial affairs, student affairs and cooperation, faculty members, FIB administrative staff, and retirees. The presence of all these stakeholders demonstrated solidarity and togetherness in maintaining community bonds and building positive relationships within the FIB Unsoed environment.
One of the important moments in the event was the tausiyah (Islamic exhortation) delivered by Ust. Kuntarto, S.Ag., M.Pd.I. The exhortation provided inspiration and motivation to all participants, whether still active or entering retirement, to continue doing their best in fulfilling their respective roles and responsibilities.
As part of the appreciation, mementos were distributed to FIB members entering retirement in 2024. Dra. Roch Widjatini, M.Si., Mohammad Prihatin, and Suroso were among those receiving awards in recognition of their contributions and service throughout their years at FIB Unsoed.
The event concluded in a warm atmosphere, with all participants greeting each other and exchanging “halal bihalal” wishes. The gathering ended with a communal meal, further strengthening the bonds of silaturahim among the entire FIB Unsoed community.
Through the organization of this silaturahim gathering, it is hoped that the spirit of togetherness, camaraderie, and mutual respect among FIB Unsoed members will continue to be maintained and enhanced, and serve as inspiration for future generations in fostering positive and harmonious relationships within the academic environment.
