PURWOKERTO – Fakultas Ilmu Budaya Universitas Jenderal Soedirman (FIB Unsoed) continues to record achievements by opening the Pendidikan Bahasa Jepang Study Programme (PBJ), which is the first Pendidikan Bahasa Jepang programme in south central Java. This bold step is taken to meet the need for educators who possess competence in Japanese language and culture, as well as a strategic move in supporting the development of student potential.
Advantages of the Pendidikan Bahasa Jepang Study Programme at Unsoed:
1. Innovative Curriculum: The PBJ Unsoed programme features an innovative curriculum that emphasizes graduate competencies in Edupreneurship & Development of Contemporary Japanese Language Teaching. Thus, graduates are expected to have expertise not only as educators but also as entrepreneurs in the field of Japanese language education.
2. Strong Partnership Network: PBJ Unsoed establishes cooperation with competent partners both domestically and internationally. Support from ASPBJI (Asosiasi Pendidikan Bahasa Jepang Indonesia), FDPPBJI (Forum Dosen Pendidikan Bahasa Jepang Indonesia), and AGBJI (Asosiasi Guru Bahasa Jepang Indonesia) further strengthens this cooperation.
3. Final Project Without Thesis: This study programme employs a different approach in completing studies. Students’ final projects do not require a thesis. This aims to provide students greater opportunity to focus on developing practical skills relevant to the workplace.
4. MBKM Programme (Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka): PBJ Unsoed supports the development of student skills through BKP MBKM, encompassing various activities such as Internship LN & DN (International and Domestic Internship), Student Exchange, and other programmes. This programme is designed to broaden student perspectives and skills beyond the classroom.
