Purwokerto, January 17, 2024 – The Sastra Inggris Study Programme at Universitas Jenderal Soedirman is celebrating a major achievement following the success of the journal J-Lalite: Journal of English Studies in obtaining Sinta rank 4 accreditation. This success was announced through the Decision of the Director General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia Number 152/E/KPT/2023 concerning the accreditation ranking of scientific journals for the second period of 2023.
This accreditation has been granted for the period from Volume 2 Number 1 Year 2021 through Volume 6 Number 2 Year 2025. J-Lalite successfully passed a rigorous evaluation by the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology, thereby obtaining recognition as a high-quality scientific journal.
Responding to this achievement, the Dean of Fakultas Ilmu Budaya at Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Dr. Ely Triasih Rahayu, expressed pride and high appreciation for the editorial team and writers of J-Lalite. “Achieving Sinta rank 4 accreditation is evidence of our commitment to improving the quality of scientific publications in the field of English language and literature,” she said.
The journal J-Lalite: Journal of English Studies has become a platform for researchers and academics to share research findings and ideas in the field of English language and literature. This rank 4 accreditation demonstrates that the journal has met the high standards set by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia.
J-Lalite Journal Editor, Ririn Kurnia Trisnawati, S.S., M.A., expressed gratitude to all contributors, reviewers, and related parties who have supported J-Lalite’s journey. “We are committed to continuing to improve the quality of publication and maintain the quality standards we have achieved,” said Ririn.
With the achievement of Sinta rank 4 accreditation, the journal J-Lalite: Journal of English Studies has become an increasingly important reference source in the development of English language and literature studies. This achievement not only brings pride to the Sastra Inggris Study Programme at Universitas Jenderal Soedirman but also strengthens J-Lalite’s position as a leading scientific journal in Indonesia.
