[FIB Unsoed, 12/10/23] The Foreign Cooperation Team of Fakultas Ilmu Budaya Universitas Jenderal Soedirman collaborated with the Cilacap Immigration Office to implement the Eazy Passport program for the second time. This program aims to assist faculty members and students in facilitating the passport application process.
The activity held at Fakultas Ilmu Budaya Unsoed in Aula Gedung Bambang Lelono on Thursday, October 12, 2023 was open to faculty members and students at the university level, as well as to faculty families. A total of 64 registrants from various backgrounds and faculties participated in the second Eazy Passport program, which ran from eight in the morning until three in the afternoon.
According to Regi Harris Sasongko, S.H., M.A., Head of the Immigration Traffic Sub-Section at the Cilacap Immigration Office, the Eazy Passport program is a service application implemented outside the immigration office with the aim of improving passport services to the public. In accordance with the requirements, the documents needed for passport application are identity cards in the form of KTP (national ID), KK (family card), and also birth certificate or marriage certificate. This activity not only serves new passport applications but also handles passport renewals.
“With the increase in international cooperation established by Fakultas Ilmu Budaya, the need for passports for students and faculty members has also increased. Through the Eazy Passport program with the hashtag #akupunyapassport, the foreign cooperation team
helps the faculty to encourage and facilitate students to have passports from the early semester so that they can be better prepared for international MBKM (student mobility/internship) later,” explained Nisa Roiyasa, S.Pd., M.TESOL, Chair of the FIB Foreign Cooperation Team. “The cooperation between FIB and the Cilacap Immigration Office is expected to continue and the Eazy Passport activity could become one of the routine activities at FIB,” she added.
