Purwokerto, July 23, 2023 – The Sastra Inggris Study Programme at Universitas Jenderal Soedirman (Unsoed) held an alumni and graduate user meeting conducted online via Zoom Meeting. This event aimed to optimize the relevance of courses with the career paths of alumni as well as to discuss the career development of Sastra Inggris Unsoed graduates.
Graduate Profile and Graduate Users Bachelor’s graduates from Sastra Inggris Unsoed are known to possess text analysis and interpretation abilities that are highly useful in various fields, including SEO and copywriting. Graduate users span various employment sectors that require English language skills, such as educators, translators, proofreaders, and interpreters.
Course Relevance to Sastra Inggris Trends Alumni conveyed that current courses remain relevant to employment trends, particularly in the fields of copywriting and business communication. However, they also emphasized the need for curriculum updates that align with contemporary developments and workplace demands.
