[fib.unsoed.ac.id/] A proud achievement has been accomplished by the Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris Study Programme, one of the study programmes at Fakultas Ilmu Budaya, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. After going through a lengthy process, the Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris study programme has successfully achieved an “outstanding” accreditation rating.
The Field Assessment Activity, which is one of the stages of the accreditation process, was conducted from Friday, February 24, 2023 to Saturday, February 25, 2023. This Field Assessment was carried out by an assessment team from LAMDIK (Lembaga Akreditasi Mandiri Kependidikan) consisting of FX. Ouda Teda Ena, M.Ed., Ed.D. from Universitas Sanata Dharma and Dr. Lulu Laela Amalia, M.Pd. from Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. This Field Assessment Activity aimed to verify data that had been reported in the Self-Evaluation Report.
After going through the Field Assessment stage and other stages, based on LAMDIK Decision No.372/SK/LAMDIK/Ak/S/III/2023, the Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris Study Programme was declared to meet the requirements to achieve an Outstanding accreditation rating. The certificate obtained is valid from February 14, 2023 until February 13, 2028.
The success achieved by the Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris study programme is certainly inseparable from the support and assistance of every element in Fakultas Ilmu Budaya. “With the achievement of this accomplishment, hopefully the lecturers in the Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris Study Programme can be increasingly enthusiastic and motivated to always work more optimally,” said Slamet Riyadi, S.S., M.Pd., coordinator of the Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris study programme.
