[fib.unsoed.ac.id/, Thursday, December 1, 2022] On Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 9 AM, the D3 Bahasa Inggris Study Programme held a Guest Lecturer Class on Translation Practice. Conducted in-person at the Aula Gedung Bambang Lelono, FIB Unsoed, the event was attended not only by hundreds of students from the classes of 2020, 2021, and 2022, but also by faculty members and coordinators of the D3 Bahasa Inggris Study Programme.
The Guest Lecturer Class on Translation Practice featured a speaker from Perwira Translation, Almas Rifqi Darmawan, S.S., M.A., who delivered material themed ‘Translation for Business’. He discussed how to become a translator for the business world. Additionally, he shared various tips for developing a translation business and emphasized the importance of the role of translation in the business world.
The students were very enthusiastic in asking various questions about translation techniques both in the academic and business worlds.
