On Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 9 a.m., the D3 Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris study programme organized a Guest Lecturer Class with a Translation Practitioner. Held in-person at the Aula Gedung Bambang Lelono, FIB Unsoed, the event was attended not only by hundreds of students from the 2020, 2021, and 2022 cohorts, but also by lecturers and coordinators of the D3 Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris study programme.
The Guest Lecturer Class featured a resource person from Perwira Translation, Almas Rifqi Darmawan, S.S., M.A., who presented material themed ‘Translation for Business’. He elaborated on how to become a translator in the business world. Furthermore, he also shared various tips for developing a translation business and emphasized the importance of the role of translation in the business world.
The students were very enthusiastic about asking various questions regarding translation techniques in both academic and business fields.
