[fib.unsoed.ac.id/, Wednesday, 12/10/2022] On Sunday, October 9, 2022, the Himpunan Mahasiswa Sastra Jepang Unsoed (Hijasu) held the Unsoed Japan Festival event. For this annual event, Hijasu adopted the theme “Kako kara no dengon” which means a message from the past.
The FJU has two series of activities or events, namely an educational competition and a general competition along with a festival. The FJU educational competition is targeted for participation by high school students (SMA/SMK/MA/equivalent level) at the national level. The event was held online/through Zoom and was broadcast live on the YouTube platform. The educational competition was attended by approximately 130 people. The types of competitions held include Japanese story telling, Japanese presentation, Shodou (Japanese calligraphy), and infographics.
The winners in each competition are as follows: Story telling Competition: 1st Place Ni Made Yunia Wulandari (SMAN 1 Kuta Utara), 2nd Place Maulinda Ashari (SMKN 1 Cilacap), 3rd Place Komang Shinbi Diandra Paramita (SMAN 1 Tabanan); Japanese Presentation Competition: 1st Place Dewi Sri Utami (MAN 1 Ciamis), 2nd Place Nail Joejo Ghazali (SMAN 63 Jakarta), 3rd Place Bagus Yahya Maulana (SMK SMTI Yogyakarta); Shodou Competition: 1st Place Faiz Musyaffa (SMAN 1 Ngamprah), 2nd Place Risna Mulyani (SMAN Jatinangor), 3rd Place Annisa Mauliddina (SMA Nurul Jadid); Infographics Competition: 1st Place Antonius Michael (SMAN 1 Jatilawang), 2nd Place Cindy Cahyani Putri Hapsari (SMKN 1 Purwokerto), 3rd Place Henk Radhitya (SMAN 1 Purwareja Klampok).
Following the FJU educational competition, one week later on October 16, the second series of FJU events or the main event will be held, namely the general competition and festival. This event differs from the educational competition which was held online; the general competition and festival will be held offline at the Fakultas Ilmu Budaya Universitas Jenderal Soedirman.
The competition and festival event will be open to the general public of Purwokerto and its surroundings. Complete information can be accessed on FJU social media.
