Based on Rector’s Decision Number 1298/UN23/KP.02.02/2018 concerning the Appointment of Faculty Leaders at Universitas Jenderal Soedirman and Dean’s Assignment Letter of FIB Unsoed Number: 788/UN23.14/KP.06.03/2022 dated 1 July 2022 concerning the Committee for the Selection of Dean of FIB Unsoed established by the Faculty Senate, we hereby inform you of the following matters:
- Based on Article 42 of the Regulation of the Minister of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia Number 28 Year 2017 concerning the Statute of Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, the requirements for prospective candidates for Dean of FIB Unsoed for the term 2022-2026 are as follows:
a. Must have the status of Civil Servant;
b. Must be a believer and have piety to Almighty God;
c. Must be physically and mentally healthy as evidenced by a certificate from a government physician;
d. Must be at most 60 (sixty) years old at the time of appointment by the authorized official (date 21 November 2022);
e. Must have managerial experience in higher education environment at least as department chair, department secretary, or equivalent for vice rector, dean, vice dean, and institute chair;
f. Must have at least a master’s degree;
g. Must hold at least the functional position of senior lecturer;
h. Must have all elements of performance assessment value, at least rated good in the last 2 (two) years;
i. Must not be on educational leave or study leave for more than 6 (six) months for advanced studies that would leave the tri dharma duties of higher education, as stated in writing;
j. Must not be undergoing medium or severe disciplinary punishment;
k. Must never have been sentenced to imprisonment based on a court decision with permanent legal force;
l. Must never have committed plagiarism as regulated in the provisions of applicable laws;
m. Must be free from narcotics, precursors, and other addictive substances;
n. Must have submitted and delivered the State Official’s Wealth Report or State Civil Apparatus Wealth Report (LHKPN/LHKASN) for the year 2021 to the Corruption Eradication Commission/Ministry of State Apparatus and Bureaucratic Reform;
o. Must not hold concurrent (structural) positions within or outside Unsoed; and
p. Must not perform other additional duties from outside Unsoed - Based on Rector’s Decision Number 1298/UN23/KP.02.02/2028 concerning the Appointment of Faculty Leaders, the registration procedure for candidates for Dean of FIB can be carried out as follows:
a. Lecturers who meet the requirements can download requirement documents through the following link: 1. Statement of willingness to be nominated as Dean: STATEMENT OF WILLINGNESS TO BE NOMINATED (unsoed.ac.id), 2. CV of Prospective Dean: CV_PROSPECTIVE_DEAN.pdf (unsoed.ac.id), 3. Declaration of Prospective Dean: DECLARATION_OF_PROSPECTIVE_DEAN.pdf (unsoed.ac.id).
b. Registrants must submit documents and sign the registration document delivery minutes (cannot be represented) to the Committee at the Committee Secretariat (Finance and Personnel Sub-section of FIB Unsoed) no later than 15 September 2022 at 15.00 WIB in the form of:
1) Statement Letter of Willingness to Nominate Oneself
2) Statement Letter of Prospective Candidate that has been signed on ten thousand rupiah stamp duty
3) Physical and Mental Health Certificate issued by a Government Physician no later than one week before the registration time.
4) Curriculum Vitae (CV) latest version
5) Vision, Mission, and Work Program of the Prospective Dean
c. If the number of registrants until 15 September 2022 at 15.00 WIB is less than 4 (four) people, the registration period is extended for 5 (five) working days from 19 to 23 September 2022 at 15.00 WIB. - Based on Unsoed Statute Number 28 Year 2017 Article 47, the Appointment of Dean is conducted through four stages, as follows:
a. Screening Stage is the process of obtaining prospective candidates conducted by the committee.
b. Selection Stage is the process of establishing prospective candidates as candidates conducted by the Senate in a senate meeting forum.
c. Election Stage is the process of obtaining the elected candidate conducted by the Senate and Rector in a senate meeting forum.
d. Appointment Stage is the Determination of the Elected Dean by the Rector based on the result of the most votes received - The Stages of Selection of Dean of Fakultas Ilmu Budaya Universitas Jenderal Soedirman 2022-2026 are as follows:
Screening of Prospective Candidates (by committee) Announcement of registration, submission of vision and mission, and work program 1 September 2022 Closure of registration 7 September 2022 Committee meeting for verification of dean candidate documents 13 September 2022 Report of verification results to Faculty Senate and announcement of prospective candidates 14 September 2022 Selection of Candidates (by Faculty Senate) Senate meeting to establish prospective candidates as dean candidates 16 September 2022 Submission of dean candidate names to the rector 23 September 2022 Presentation of vision and mission of candidates before Senate members and the entire FIB Unsoed community 21 October 2022 Determination of Candidates (by FIB Senate and Rector) 26 – 28 October 2022 Proposal for Appointment of Elected Dean to Rector (by FIB Senate) 1 November 2022 Thus, we present information regarding the mechanism for the selection of Dean of FIB Period 2022-2026.
