Purwokerto, January 17, 2024 - The English Literature Program at Universitas Jenderal Soedirman is celebrating a remarkable achievement as the J-Lalite: Journal of English Studies successfully secures Sinta accreditation at level 4. This accomplishment was announced through the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia's Decision Number 152/E/KPT/2023 regarding the accreditation ranking of scientific journals for the second period of 2023.
This accreditation is granted for the period from Volume 2 Number 1 in 2021 to Volume 6 Number 2 in 2025. J-Lalite has successfully undergone a rigorous evaluation by the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology, earning recognition as a high-quality scientific journal.
In response to this achievement, the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities at Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Dr. Ely Triasih Rahayu, expressed pride and high appreciation for the editorial team and authors of J-Lalite. "Achieving Sinta accreditation level 4 is evidence of our commitment to enhancing the quality of scholarly publications in the field of English literature," she said.
J-Lalite: Journal of English Studies has served as a platform for researchers and academics to share research findings and thoughts in the field of English language and literature. This level 4 accreditation demonstrates that the journal has met the high standards set by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia. the J-Lalite: Journal of English Studies telah menjadi wadah bagi para peneliti dan akademisi untuk berbagi hasil penelitian dan pemikiran di bidang bahasa dan sastra Inggris. Akreditasi peringkat 4 ini menunjukkan bahwa jurnal ini telah memenuhi standar tinggi yang ditetapkan oleh Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi Republik Indonesia.
The Editor of J-Lalite, Ririn Kurnia Trisnawati, S.S., M.A., extended gratitude to all contributors, reviewers, and stakeholders who have supported the journey of J-Lalite. "We are committed to continually improving the quality of our publications and maintaining the standards we have achieved," said Ririn.
By attaining Sinta accreditation level 4, the J-Lalite: Journal of English Studies further solidifies its position as a crucial reference source in the development of English language and literature studies. This accomplishment not only brings pride to the English Literature Program at Universitas Jenderal Soedirman but also strengthens J-Lalite's standing as a leading scholarly journal in Indonesia.
