The Field Assessment activity by the Lembaga Akreditasi Mandiri Kependidikan (LAMDIK) for the Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris Study Programme of the Fakultas Ilmu Budaya at Universitas Jenderal Soedirman was held from Friday, February 24, 2023 to Saturday, February 25, 2023. The activity was conducted by an Assessment team from LAMDIK, namely Mr. FX. Ouda Teda Ena, M.Ed., Ed.D from Universitas Sanata Dharma and Ms. Dr. Lulu Laela Amalia, M.Pd. from Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia.
The Assessors arrived and were warmly welcomed by the Rector and his staff at the Bambang Lelono building of the Fakultas Ilmu Budaya of Universitas Jenderal Soedirman on Friday, February 24, 2023 at 08.00 WIB. The Assessment team was greeted with traditional gamelan music from Laras Budaya. The event then began with opening remarks by Mr. Prof. Dr. Ir. Akhmad Sodiq M.Sc., Agr as Rector of Universitas Jenderal Soedirman and Ms. Dr. Ely Tri Asih Rahayu as Dean of Fakultas Ilmu Budaya. The opening ceremony concluded with a joint prayer for the smooth conduct of the field assessment. The activity then continued with a presentation by UPPS about the advantages of FIB. This was followed by data confirmation on LED with documents from UPPS, the Quality Assurance Team, and the Study Programme. The final agenda of the LAMDIK Field Assessment on the first day was interviews with alumni and stakeholders.
On the second day, Saturday, February 25, 2023, the Field Assessment activities began with observation of microteaching, followed by interviews with administrative staff and students. After that, the Assessment team conducted an inspection of the facilities and infrastructure owned by the study programme, including faculty offices, classrooms, microteaching laboratory, language laboratory, computer laboratory, multimedia laboratory, and FIB studio. During the closing ceremony, the results and recommendations from the Assessment team were presented. The LAMDIK Field Assessment for the Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris Study Programme concluded with the signing of the official minutes. (WFA)
