The undergraduate study programme Pendidikan Bahasa Jepang (PBJ) at Universitas Jenderal Soedirman is exploring cooperation with J-Class: WaGomu Japanese Class, a company providing online Japanese language learning platform services. This cooperation is being pursued to fulfill one of the graduate profiles of PBJ Unsoed, namely as a content creator for Japanese language learning.
J-Class: WaGomu Japanese Class is a Japanese language learning platform for self-taught Japanese language learners, offering several Japanese language courses online, including both paid and free courses. It also provides a YouTube channel for Japanese language learning as well as introduction to Japanese culture and videos about the working world in Japan.
As stated by the head of cooperation for the PBJ study programme, Dian Bayu Firmansyah, S.Pd., M.Pd., the content of the cooperation to be carried out between the PBJ Unsoed study programme and J-Class/WaGomu includes cooperation in the implementation of lecture activities through the Praktisi Mengajar program and guest lecturer classes, as well as internship activities at WaGomu to facilitate Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka activities. From this cooperation being developed, it is hoped that graduating students can gain experience and skills to become content creators for Japanese language learning through online media/platforms.
