Purwokerto, March 10, 2025 – The Sastra Mandarin D3 Study Programme of Universitas Jenderal Soedirman (Unsoed) is initiating a strategic cooperation with one of the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) companies operating at Batang Industrial Park, namely PT Dream C&H. This cooperation initiation activity was held online on Monday, March 10, 2025.
The online meeting was attended by the Cooperation Team of the Sastra Mandarin D3 Study Programme of Unsoed as well as representatives from the management of PT Dream C&H. This activity represents an initial step in exploring collaboration in the fields of education and human resource development, particularly in utilizing Mandarin language competence in the industrial world.
The Coordinator of the Sastra Mandarin D3 Study Programme of Unsoed conveyed that this cooperation initiation is part of the study programme’s efforts to establish strategic partnerships with the business and industrial sectors. “We see great potential in this cooperation in opening up opportunities for internships, training, and absorption of our graduates in partner companies, particularly FDI companies that have the need for workers with Mandarin language skills,” he expressed.
Meanwhile, PT Dream C&H welcomed the initiative from Unsoed and expressed its interest in exploring further cooperation. The company representative conveyed that the availability of workers who possess Mandarin language skills is greatly needed, especially in supporting cross-cultural communication and operational efficiency of the company.
With this initiation, both parties hope to soon follow up on the discussion of cooperation in the form of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that will cover the fields of education, training, and recruitment of graduates from the Sastra Mandarin D3 Study Programme.
This step also demonstrates Unsoed’s commitment in enhancing the linkage and alignment between vocational education and industrial needs, in line with the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program and strengthening sustainable partnership networks.
