Purwokerto, March 16, 2025 – Dimas Dwi Aji, an outstanding student from the D3 English Language programme at Fakultas Ilmu Budaya, has successfully secured a position as a representative in the 2025 Outstanding Student Selection (Pilmapres) competition at the Diploma level to advance to the university stage.
Dimas Dwi Aji is a Diploma (D3) English Language student who has demonstrated exceptional achievements in both academic and non-academic fields. Pilmapres is a prestigious competition held annually to identify students with the best academic and non-academic accomplishments. In the selection process at the faculty level, Dimas Dwi Aji was able to demonstrate excellence in various aspects, including academic achievements, innovation, and social contributions.
The Dean of Fakultas Ilmu Budaya, Prof. Dr Ely Triasih Rahayu, S.S., M.Hum., expressed her appreciation and support for Dimas’s achievement. “We are very proud of Dimas Dwi Aji’s accomplishment. We hope that Dimas can perform his best at the university level and bring honor to Fakultas Ilmu Budaya,” she said.
Similar sentiments were also expressed by Kristianto Setiawan, S.S., M.A., the Coordinator of the D3 English Language Programme (Korprodi), who conveyed full support from the D3 English Language programme and expressed hope for the best results in the next stages.
Dimas himself expressed gratitude for this opportunity and determination to give his best. “I feel honored to represent the faculty in the Pilmapres 2025 competition. This is both a challenge and an opportunity to continue developing and contributing to the surrounding community,” said Dimas.
The university-level selection process will take place in several stages, including academic work presentations, interviews, and achievement portfolio assessments. With careful preparation, Dimas is expected to achieve the best results and bring pride to Fakultas Ilmu Budaya.
