Jurnal Ilmiah Lingua Idea (JULID), which currently holds a Sinta 3 accreditation ranking, conducted a visit to Fakultas Ilmu Budaya Universitas Udayana, Denpasar-Bali for benchmarking journal management toward Scopus indexation, on Monday, July 29, 2024.
During this activity, the JULID editor team met and discussed directly with Prof. I Nyoman Darma Putra, M. Litt., Ph.D., as Editor in Chief of the Kajian Bali journal indexed in Scopus Q1 in the latter half of 2023. In his presentation, Prof. Darma Putra provided tips and tricks regarding journal management toward Scopus indexation, while also offering very constructive suggestions and input for the development of Jurnal Ilmiah Lingua Idea. Prof. Darma Putra was very enthusiastic in welcoming the JULID editor team’s visit, and also expressed willingness to assist as a peer reviewer for Jurnal Ilmiah Lingua Idea.
Beyond visiting the Kajian Bali journal, the JULID editor team also visited and discussed with Editor in Chief of Pustaka journal, Ngurah Indra Pradhana, S.S., M.Hum., regarding cooperation in journal development and also publication in journals available at each institution. It is hoped that this benchmarking activity will bring positive benefits for the progress of Jurnal Ilmiah Lingua Idea management and other study programme journals at FIB Unsoed.
