On Saturday, May 13, 2023, the Publication Laboratory of Fakultas Ilmu Budaya (FIB) at Universitas Jenderal Soedirman (Unsoed) held a hybrid webinar aimed at providing guidance in writing monographs, textbooks, and TTG books. Running from 08.00 WIB to 15.30 WIB, the event offered a series of informative and interactive activities for participants.
The event opened with warm remarks from the master of ceremonies, Hervalinda, accompanied by Nadia Gitya and Usep Muttaqin singing the Indonesian national anthem, Indonesia Raya. Subsequently, an activity report was presented by the Committee Chair, Memet Sudaryanto, followed by opening remarks from the Dean of Fakultas Ilmu Budaya, Ely Triasih Rahayu.
Important materials on writing were presented by experts in their respective fields. Prof. Rudi Hartono began with the first presentation, followed by a question-and-answer session moderated by Ririn Kurnia Trisnawati. The second presentation was delivered by Dr. Lina, followed by a question-and-answer session moderated by Indra Gunawan. The question-and-answer sessions provided participants with opportunities to obtain clarification and additional insights.
The activity not only imparted knowledge but also provided time for rest and casual discussion during the break session before proceeding to the manuscript review session. The manuscript review session was guided by Ririn Kurnia Trisnawati, where 15 manuscript drafts submitted to the committee received improvement suggestions from Dr. Lina as the resource person.
The event concluded with closing remarks delivered by moderator Ririn Kurnia Trisnawati at approximately 15.45 WIB. Thus, this webinar provided a valuable opportunity for participants to obtain guidance and direct input from experts in the book-writing process.
