Purwokerto – Angelika Azharani Hermanto (Angel), a student of the D3 Sastra Inggris program at Fakultas Ilmu Budaya, has been selected as the Outstanding Student of the Diploma Program at Universitas Jenderal Soedirman 2023. The selection conducted on April 11-12, 2023 at the Unsoed Rectorate has successfully made Angel selected as Unsoed’s representative to participate in the Outstanding Student Competition (PILMAPRES) for the Diploma level at Region VI, which will be held online on May 3-4, 2023.
Angel’s journey began with PILMAPRES held at the D3 Sastra Inggris program level on February 17, 2023. Angel successfully outperformed three other participants. Subsequently, Angel advanced to the PILMAPRES selection at the Faculty level on March 15, 2023, and Fakultas Ilmu Budaya crowned Angel as the Outstanding Student of FIB for 2023. The PILMAPRES competition continued at the University level. The competition became increasingly intense as it was participated in by 15 outstanding students from various faculties consisting of 12 undergraduate students and 3 diploma students. Based on the evaluation and verification by the jury panel, Angelika Azharani Hermanto was appointed as the champion of the university-level outstanding student competition.
Dean of Fakultas Ilmu Budaya Dr. Ely Triasih Rahayu,S.S.,M.Hum congratulated the coordinator of D3 Sastra Inggris Program Kristianto Setiawan.,S.S.,M.A, supervising lecturer Indah Puspitasari,S.S.,M.Hum, and Angelika Azharani Hermanto for the achievements obtained and also expressed support so that the PILMAPRES selection of higher education institutions LLDIKTI Region VI can run well. The Dean of Fakultas Ilmu Budaya conveyed full support for this competition, as it is able to inspire enthusiasm and competitive spirit among students while motivating other students to continue achieving excellence.
