Two students of the Sastra Inggris study programme at Universitas Jenderal Soedirman have completed one of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) activities, namely international student exchange through the Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) scholarship program. The two students are Safira Nur Fitriani who participated in MBKM at Universidad de Granada, Granada, Spain and Sabrina Yurizqa Ramadhanti at Palacky University, Olomouc, Czech Republic.
Safira and Sabrina carried out this student exchange activity for one semester, namely the 2022/2023 odd semester. The scholarship program successfully obtained by Safira and Sabrina provides opportunities for Indonesian students to participate in international mobility to the world’s leading universities. The scholarship program includes full tuition, airfare financing, monthly living expenses, health insurance, visa issuance fees, and other expenses. The achievement of these two students is expected to inspire other students, particularly in the Sastra Inggris study programme at Unsoed, and generally in all higher education institutions in Indonesia.
