[fib.unsoed.ac.id/, Saturday, January 28, 2023] On Friday, January 27, 2023, an MBKM cooperation initiative meeting was held between Fakultas Ilmu Budaya Unsoed and Jinan University, China in the meeting room of building B of Fakultas Ilmu Budaya, Unsoed.
Representing FIB was Dean Dr. Ely Triasih Rahayu, M.Hum, accompanied by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and the Vice Dean for Finance and Human Resources, the Head of the Asia Timur Department and the Secretary of the Asia Timur Department, as well as the international cooperation team of Fakultas Ilmu Budaya. Jinan University was represented by Professor Zhang Yun and Yudi Sutanto Ph.D (chair of the three-language school association) as coordinators of the cooperation initiative.
The conclusions from this meeting include expectations for direct instruction from Jinan University lecturers for certain courses for FIB students, and conversely Indonesian language instruction for Jinan University students. Furthermore, it is hoped that a collaborative research proposal will be submitted between FIB and Jinan University as a follow-up to the cooperation, as well as faculty exchange for FIB lecturers and Jinan University lecturers to deepen Mandarin language proficiency for FIB lecturers and Indonesian language proficiency for Jinan University lecturers.
