PURWOKERTO— The Teaching Assistance Program in educational units is a form of learning activity conducted by students collaboratively under the guidance of teachers and supervising lecturers in formal educational units.
The Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris study programme (PBING UNSOED), Fakultas Ilmu Budaya of Universitas Jenderal Soedirman has collaborated with SMPN 166 Jakarta as a partner school for the 2019 cohort of students based in Jakarta who are participating in the Teaching Assistance Program. The Teaching Assistance Program activities in the educational unit were carried out for one semester, from August 20 through November 30, 2021.
The withdrawal ceremony for the Teaching Assistance Program with SMPN 166 Jakarta was held in hybrid format (in-person and online) at SMPN 166 Jakarta, Thursday (9/12/2021) at 10.00 WIB. The withdrawal process on that morning was attended by the Principal of SMPN 166 Jakarta, Bapak Agus Sutarto, S.Pd, Bapak Karsono, S.Pd as deputy principal for curriculum, Ibu Warnani, M.Pd as student mentor teacher, and Bapak Prayogo Hadi Sulistio, S.Pd., M.Pd as supervising lecturer.
The activity conducted through Google Meet was led by a student serving as moderator, followed by remarks from the Principal of SMPN 166 Jakarta, the Deputy Principal for curriculum, then the mentor teacher, and concluded with remarks from the supervising lecturer. In his remarks, Bapak Agus Sutarto, S.Pd expressed gratitude for the collaboration that had been established between SMPN 166 Jakarta and Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, with the hope of maintaining good relations even after the Teaching Assistance Program has concluded.
Meanwhile, the Supervising Lecturer, Bapak Prayogo Hadi Sulistio, S.Pd., M.Pd., also expressed gratitude to SMPN 166 Jakarta for accepting students from the Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris study programme to participate in the Teaching Assistance Program and for guiding students in their daily activities, both in teaching and learning activities as well as administrative matters.
Following the withdrawal ceremony for the Teaching Assistance Program with SMPN 166 Jakarta, all participants were permitted to leave the Google Meet after the documentation session was completed. (FS)
