Ulul Huda, M. Si., lecturer of Pendidikan Bahasa Jepang (PBJ) at FIB Unsoed, has demonstrated his existence and contribution as an academic by being involved in the preparation of an academic manuscript and Draft Local Regulation (Raperda) for Cilacap Regency. This collaboration between the Cilacap Regency Government and LPPM Unsoed was carried out to support the Cilacap Regency Local Government’s plan to establish a Draft Local Regulation for the Implementation and Management of Zakat, Infaq and Sedekah, which is considered to have significant meaning for promoting independent and equitable economic growth in Cilacap Regency.
As stated by Ulul Huda, M. Si., the head of the drafting team from LPPM Unsoed, the idea of preparing the Cilacap Regency Raperda on the Implementation and Management of Zakat, Infaq and Sedekah has philosophical, sociological, and juridical foundations. The philosophical foundation is that the optimal implementation and management of Zakat, Infaq and Sedekah can support efforts to create community welfare through poverty alleviation and reduction of social inequality; the sociological foundation is that the implementation and management of Zakat, Infaq and Sedekah needs to be continuously improved so that its implementation is more effective and efficient and can be further developed; and the juridical foundation is that the formation of the Cilacap Regency Draft Local Regulation on the Implementation and Management of Zakat, Infaq and Sedekah is an implementation of the mandate from Law No. 23 of 2011 concerning Zakat Management and Government Regulation No. 14 of 2014 concerning the Implementation of Law No. 23 of 2011 concerning Zakat Management. Furthermore, the existence of BAZNAS Cilacap Regency as the zakat management body in Cilacap Regency also has a very strategic role, therefore it needs to be developed, protected and empowered in a planned, directed and sustainable manner.
In the process of preparing this academic manuscript and Raperda, Ulul Huda, M. Si., as head of the expert team from LPPM Unsoed, was accompanied by two team members: Dr. Rahab, SE. M.Sc from FEB Unsoed, and Imam Suhardi, M.Hum., lecturer at FIB Unsoed and also serving as Head of Research at LPPM, as well as involving external parties including the Regional Government Agencies of Cilacap Regency and members of the Cilacap Regency Regional House of Representatives. Hopefully, this concrete step by the expert team from LPPM Unsoed in making contributions to the wider community will bring many benefits that can improve community welfare through professional management of zakat, infaq and sedekah, particularly in Cilacap Regency. 幅広く社会貢献できるよう祈ってます！
