[fib.unsoed.ac.id/] Wednesday, July 27, 2022 The S1 Study Programme in Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia at FIB Unsoed held an Expert Lecture and Dissemination of MBKM Research Findings. This event was organized in collaboration with the Association of Indonesian Language and Literature Lecturers (ADOBSI). The event was attended by two different speakers. The first speaker was the Chair of ADOBSI, Dr. Muhammad Rohmadi, M. Hum. The second speaker was the Division Head of MBKM at ADOBSI, Dr. Memet Sudaryanto, M. Pd.
The event was opened by the Vice Dean I of Fakultas Ilmu Budaya, Dr. Ely Triasih Rahayu, S.S., M. Hum. She delivered warm remarks with the hope of expanding students’ knowledge in the field of research. Additional remarks were also presented by the Chair of ADOBSI Dr. Muhammad Rohmadi, M. Hum.; the Division Head of MBKM ADOBSI Dr. Memet Sudaryanto, M. Pd.; and the Executive Chair of the Expert Lecture M. Riyanton, S.S., M.Pd. The event was also attended by students and several lecturers from various universities, totaling 153 participants.
The first speaker presented extensive knowledge regarding the legal basis, national policies, and institutional frameworks for developing higher education curricula. The second speaker presented knowledge about the forms of MBKM Independent Research learning activities. According to him, MBKM is a new educational scheme and represents a concrete form of achieving learning continuum that is synchronized with educational theory that bases each part of an educational system around goals (outcomes) or OBE.
Next, students and their supervising lecturers presented their research findings that they had previously conducted. This research was part of one of the converted MBKM programs organized by the study programme. The research team consisted of 29 students from Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia who were each accompanied by supervising lecturers.
Students conducted various types of research. The research was divided into 9 topics: Vocabulary Elements of BIPA Darmasiswa at Unsoed; Gadgets for Distance Learning of Indonesian Language; Analysis of Signs in Short Stories: A Semiotic Study; Appropriateness of Language in Mathematics Story Problems: A Psychopragmatic Study; Structuralism and Function of the Raden Kamandaka Legend Story; Illocutionary Speech Acts in Deddy Corbuzier’s Podcast; Online Learning in the Micro Teaching Course at Unsoed; Appropriateness of Student Textbooks and Content of Effective Communication Stimuli; and Preservation of Sundanese Language. The activity concluded with a question and answer session from participants to the presenters. Additionally, participants were given the opportunity to provide feedback and suggestions.
