Purwokerto, 9 September 2025 – Fakultas Ilmu Budaya (FIB) Universitas Jenderal Soedirman (UNSOED) continues to demonstrate its commitment to expanding international experience for students through an overseas internship programme. On 9 September 2025, six FIB students officially departed for Palm Garden Hotel, Malaysia, to undertake international internship activities in the field of hospitality and professional services.

Aisyah (D3 Bahasa Inggris)
Elita (S1 Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris)
Cikal (D3 Bahasa Inggris)
Clara (D3 Bahasa Inggris)
Risma (D3 Bahasa Mandarin)
This internship activity is the result of collaboration between Fakultas Ilmu Budaya Universitas Jenderal Soedirman and Palm Garden Hotel, Malaysia. The programme aims to provide students with the opportunity to gain real work experience in an international environment, while enhancing cross-cultural communication skills, professionalism, and global adaptation.
Dean of Fakultas Ilmu Budaya UNSOED, Prof. Dr Ely Triasih Rahayu S.S.,M.A., expressed his appreciation to the selected students. “We are proud of the spirit and achievement of FIB students who have successfully secured international internship opportunities. This experience will be an important foundation in building global competitiveness and broadening their cultural horizons,” he stated.
Through this programme, Fakultas Ilmu Budaya UNSOED hopes to continue strengthening international cooperation networks and producing graduates who are excellent, of good character, and ready to contribute to the global world.
