Purwokerto, July 10, 2024 – The Website Management Team at Fakultas Ilmu Budaya Universitas Jenderal Soedirman (FIB Unsoed) conducted a training session titled “Website Optimization through Professional Customization Techniques and SEO Article Writing” on Wednesday, July 10, 2024. The event took place at the Meeting Room of UPT Perpustakaan Unsoed and was attended by lecturers and student representatives from various study programmes within Fakultas Ilmu Budaya. This activity aims to enhance the skills of lecturers and students in managing websites, particularly in aspects of professional customization and search engine optimization (SEO). With these capabilities, the FIB Unsoed website is expected to become more attractive and informative for visitors and more easily discoverable on search engines. The event was opened with remarks from Dr. Ely Triasih Rahayu, M.Hum, Dean of FIB Unsoed, who emphasized the importance of mastering technology and digitalization in the modern era, “The ability to manage and optimize websites is a highly valuable skill, both for academic and professional purposes.”
The first session covered materials on website customization techniques. Participants were taught how to use various tools and plugins to enhance website appearance and functionality. The instructor, a web design expert, demonstrated practical steps in creating user-friendly and aesthetic websites.
In the second session, participants received training on writing articles optimized for SEO. This material included keyword selection, article structure, and writing techniques that appeal to both readers and search engine algorithms. An SEO expert explained how well-written articles can improve website ranking in search results.
The event concluded with a question and answer session and closing remarks by the organizing committee. Participants are expected to apply the knowledge acquired in managing websites in their respective study programmes. With these new skills, the FIB Unsoed website is expected to continue developing and make a positive contribution to the dissemination of academic information.
