In the context of reaccreditation for the undergraduate study programme Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris (PBIng), a field assessment process is taking place. The field assessment was conducted on February 24-25, 2023 in person at the Auditorium of Gedung Bambang Lelolono, Fakultas Ilmu Budaya, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. The assessor team from LAMDIK consists of FX. Ouda Teda Ena, M.Ed., Ed.D. (Sanata Dharma University, Yogyakarta) and Dr. Lulu Laela Amalia, M.Pd. (UPI Bandung).
The field assessment (AL) activities began with an opening and welcome remarks by the Rector of Unsoed, Prof.Dr.Ir Akhmad Sodiq M.Sc.,Agr. and the Dean of FIB, Dr. Ely Triasih Rahayu, S.S., M.Hum., also attended by the Coordinator of the Learning Development Center LP3M Unsoed. Subsequently, a presentation was delivered by the Dean of FIB followed by discussion. The assessor team also conducted interviews with faculty members, administrative staff, employers, students, and alumni to gather information regarding the implementation of the university’s tri dharma (teaching, research, and community service), academic and non-academic services, and competencies.
The series of AL processes aims to verify, validate, and complete data and information presented by the study programme in the performance document and self-evaluation report that have been submitted to LAMDIK. “Alhamdulillah the accreditation of our study programme has proceeded smoothly and hopefully our study programme will obtain the best accreditation results”, said Slamet Riyadi, S.S., M.Pd., coordinator of the PBIng study programme.
