IISMA and IIVOSMA Socialization

[fib.unsoed.ac.id/, Wednesday, January 25, 2023] Fakultas Ilmu Budaya held an IISMA and IIVOSMA socialization event on Saturday, March 21, 2022 as one of the efforts to facilitate students in obtaining comprehensive knowledge about IISMA (Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards) and IIVOSMA (Indonesian International Vocational Student Mobility Awards). IISMA and IIVOSMA are forms of student mobility activities to support the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology. IISMA is provided for undergraduate students and IIVOSMA is provided for vocational students.
The socialization event was held online via zoom meeting. The event was attended by the Director of IRO at Unsoed, the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of FIB, the Vice Dean for Student Affairs of FIB, and other invited guests. The event was opened by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Ely Triasih Rahayu S.S., M.Hum. In her remarks, she conveyed that the purpose of this event is to equip students with knowledge, especially for language learners, it would be better for students to study the language directly in its country of origin. This activity also does not charge any fees at all, since everything is covered by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, so students do not need to worry about other costs. The IRO Director, Dr.rer.nat. Erwin Riyanto Ardli, S.Si. M.Sc., also strongly supports FIB students to participate in IISMA and IIVOSMA activities to gain more knowledge from various top universities around the world, and also to learn about culture in the destination country. Students can also develop their abilities to solve problems in the academic world in their own way. IRO also finances English language tests for students who meet the qualifications.
