PURWOKERTO – The board of Keluarga Alumni Fakultas Ilmu Budaya Universitas Jenderal Soedirman (KA-FIB Unsoed) for the 2021-2026 period has been officially formed. The inauguration ceremony was held in hybrid format (in-person and online) at Aula Gedung D FIB, Saturday (27/11/2021) from 8.00 to 8.30 WIB.
Astera Primanto Bhakti, Chair of Unsoed Alumni who currently serves as Director General of Financial Balance at the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, inaugurated the chair of KA-FIB for the 2021-2026 period, Ade Christanty Yudha Bestari, S.S., M.Si., along with the board members.
Present at the event were Dean of FIB Dra. Roch Widjatini, M.Si. and Vice Dean 3 for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Cooperation, Idah Hamidah, S.S., M.Hum.
In his remarks, newly inaugurated Chair of KA-FIB Unsoed Ade Christanty Yudha Bestari, S.S., M.Si. stated his readiness to take on the responsibility. According to this lecturer at Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama (UNU) Purwokerto, synergy between the campus and alumni is necessary for the advancement of the alma mater.
“Going forward, KA-FIB will continue programs that have been implemented by the previous board and innovate with new programs that are hoped to make positive contributions to the alma mater,” said this FIB Unsoed alumnus from the Sastra Inggris programme, class of 2007.
“The KA-FIB board being inaugurated represents the continuation of the leadership baton from the 2018-2021 period chaired by Erwita, M.A., who is also a lecturer at FIB Unsoed in the Sastra Indonesia programme,” said Vice Dean 3 for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Cooperation, Idah Hamidah, S.S., M.Hum.
Her hope is that this new board will increasingly strengthen synergy between alumni and campus and can together advance the alma mater with their respective expertise and roles in society.
Meanwhile, Chair of Unsoed Alumni Astera Primanto Bhakti hopes that KA-FIB can move forward together with alumni associations from all faculties at Unsoed within the framework of KA Unsoed. According to him, synergy between the higher education institution and alumni is necessary to accelerate achievement of IKU targets and implementation of MBKM.
Following the inauguration, the new KA FIB board then participated in the Temu Alumni Akbar Unsoed activity held at Graha Widyatama Unsoed. The event was also enlivened by performances from the Karawitan Ensemble and Dancers of FIB.
