The Pendidikan Bahasa Jepang (PBJ) Study Programme at Unsoed, represented by PBJ study programme coordinator Dr. Haryono, S.S., M.Pd., and cooperation team support coordinator Dian Bayu Firmansyah, S.Pd., M.Pd., executed the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) and Implementation Agreement (IA) with Convi, Co., Ltd., in Osaka, Japan. The signing of these two cooperation documents took place during the OSIP Forum 2024 event, held on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Osaka City Hall, Japan.
The signing of the MoA and IA represents a continuation of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that has been in place since 2023. In the MoA that was signed, several cooperation activities were agreed upon, including facilitating student MBKM activities through internship programs to Japan, practitioner lecturers, and dissemination of lecturer research results through OSIP Forum activities. The implementation of cooperation activities between the PBJ study programme and Convi, Co., Ltd., is realized through the dissemination of lecturer research results at OSIP Forum 2024, which is hoped will continue to be implemented and attended by other PBJ study programme lecturers in the coming years.
The cooperation activities agreed upon are not limited to the PBJ study programme alone, but can also be utilized by lecturers from other study programmes at Fakultas Ilmu Budaya (FIB), Unsoed. For the next target, the PBJ study programme will attempt to establish communication and cooperation with Osaka University regarding student exchange between Osaka University and Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Initial communication with Osaka University was established during the OSIP Forum 2024 event, when both PBJ study programme representatives presented this matter to one of the professors from Osaka University, Hara Mayuko sensei, who specializes in Indonesian language learning (BIPA).
It is hoped that the signing of this cooperation agreement will bring benefits and expand collaborative networks between Unsoed and companies and universities in Japan. PBJ、万歳！
