Purwokerto, June 28, 2024 – Fakultas Ilmu Budaya (FIB) of Universitas Jenderal Soedirman (UNSOED) successfully held a Performance Based Budget Planning Workshop as a strategy to improve budget quality for 2025. The event was attended by various leaders and staff of FIB UNSOED, with the aim of strengthening understanding and skills in developing performance-based budgets.
The workshop began at 07:30 with participant registration and opening. The Dean of FIB UNSOED, Dr. Ely Triasih Rahayu, S.S., M.Hum., delivered her remarks at 08:00, emphasizing the importance of effective and efficient budget planning to support various programs and activities at FIB. Following this, participants enjoyed the first coffee break.
At 08:30, Atika Eka Luftianingrum, A.P., a resource person from KPPN Purwokerto, began her presentation on the fundamentals of Activity and Budget Implementation Plans (RPKA). This session ran until 10:00 and was followed by a presentation from Teguh Cahyadi, S.Kom., a resource person from the UNSOED Planning Section, who discussed strategies to ensure that planned activities and budgets can be approved and implemented effectively. This session ran until 11:30.
After a break, prayer, and lunch (ishoma) lasting one hour, the workshop continued with mentoring for the preparation of activity and budget proposals (RPKA) from 12:30 to 15:00. Participants had the opportunity to directly practice preparing RPKA with guidance from the resource persons. After the second coffee break at 15:15, the event continued with presentations of activity and budget proposals by budget users until 16:30, which was then concluded with closing remarks.
The event was attended by principal resource persons Atika Eka Luftianingrum, A.P. from KPPN Purwokerto and Teguh Cahyadi, S.Kom. from the UNSOED Planning Section. In addition, various leaders and staff of FIB UNSOED were present, including the Vice Dean, Department Heads, Program Coordinators, Laboratory Heads, Administrative Heads, Sub-coordinators, and team leaders from various divisions such as PII, journal, promotion, GPM, achievement center, international cooperation, and tracer studies.
This workshop is expected to provide deeper knowledge regarding performance-based budget planning and improve the quality of budget planning at FIB UNSOED. Furthermore, this activity is also expected to enhance participants’ ability to submit effective and efficient budget proposals, thereby supporting various programs and activities at Fakultas Ilmu Budaya UNSOED in 2025.
