PURWOKERTO – The Sastra Inggris programme at Universitas Jenderal Soedirman signed a cooperation agreement with the Sastra Inggris programme at Universitas Musamus, Merauke. This activity was conducted in hybrid format on Wednesday, 09 November 2022 in the auditorium of building D of Fakultas Ilmu Budaya. Present at this meeting were Vice Dean for Academic Affairs at FIB Unsoed, Dr. Ely Triasih Rahayu, M.Hum., Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Cooperation at FIB Unsoed, Idah Hamidah, M.Hum., Head of Department of English Language and Literature at Unsoed, Mia Fitria Agustina, M.A., Head of Sastra Inggris Programme at Universitas Musamus, Sri Winarsih, M.Pd., Coordinator of Documentation Division at Universitas Musamus, Yudhistira Kuncoro Adi, S.P., M.P., the FIB Cooperation team, and the Sastra Inggris programme Cooperation team from Unsoed.
The signing of this cooperation agreement aims to support programme activities from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology in the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar – Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) programme. One of these activities includes the implementation of Pertukaran Mahasiswa Merdeka (PMM). This activity is expected to enhance students’ insights, experience, and knowledge so that they possess excellent competencies in their field and develop a national perspective.
