PURWOKERTO – The Student Welfare Department of the Sastra Inggris Student Association (HMSI) of Universitas Jenderal Soedirman has organized a webinar activity “Mentoring for Sharing” on July 23, 2022. This mentoring is an annual work program of the student welfare department that aims to help students in determining their choice among the three specializations available in Sastra Inggris Unsoed, namely literature, linguistics, and translation which will be taken by students inthe future.
The Mentoring work program was filled by material presentations from Sastra Inggris Unsoed lecturers, namely Dr. Lynda Susana Widya Ayu Fatmawaty, S.S., M.Hum. for the literature specialization, Usep Muttaqin, S.Hum, M.A. for the linguistics specialization, and Ambhita Dhyaningrum, S.S., M.Hum. for the translation specialization. Not only that, the mentoring also provided sharing sessions by senior students from each specialization. The event was executed very smoothly and was attended by 90 students from the 2021 and 2022 cohorts. With this mentoring activity , it is hoped that students can gain broader knowledge about each specialization so that students can choose theirspecialization with serious consideration.
