Aisya Rahardiani Suwito (18), commonly known as Aisya, successfully brought home a silver medal in the National Taekwondo Tournament organized by DGTI (Dewan Guru Taekwondo Indonesia). Aisya won the Silver medal in the Individual Girl Poomsae class. This largest DGTI event was held on Sunday, 21 May 2023 at GOR Ciracas, East Jakarta and was attended by 800 participants from throughout Indonesia.
Aisya traveled to Jakarta together with eight other taekwondo athletes from Unsoed. Aisya said that her team had prepared for this tournament for two months with technical and physical training.
Aisya began participating in taekwondo since junior high school and has participated in several championships. As a result, Aisya has a large collection of medals dominated by gold and silver.
