Workshop “Penerapan AI dalam Mendesain Media Pembelajaran” di FIB UNSOED: Dorong Inovasi Pembelajaran Berbasis Teknologi
Purwokerto, October 15, 2025 — Fakultas Ilmu Budaya (FIB) Universitas Jenderal Soedirman successfully organized the Workshop Penerapan AI dalam Mendesain Media Pembelajaran on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, held at the Aula Bambang Lelono FIB UNSOED. The event took place from 08:30 to 15:00 and was attended by FIB-UNSOED lecturers, students, and education practitioners who were enthusiastic about learning the utilization of artificial intelligence to improve the quality of learning media.
This workshop featured keynote speaker Agus Suparno, S.Si., M.Eng., MVP, a technology practitioner and developer widely known for the application of AI in education and creative industries. In his presentation, Agus Suparno emphasized the importance of mastering AI technology as a future competency, and provided hands-on practice on how to design interactive, adaptive, and effective learning media using various AI platforms.
The event was officially opened by the Dekan FIB UNSOED, Prof. Dr. Ely Triasih Rahayu, S.S., M.Hum. In her remarks, she emphasized that digital transformation requires educators to continuously adapt and develop creativity in the teaching and learning process. “AI is not to replace educators, but to strengthen the learning process so that it is more relevant, engaging, and impactful,” she said.
In addition, remarks were also delivered by Rosyid Dodiyanto, S.S., M.Hum., as the Head of Laboratorium Kajian Pengembangan Pembelajaran FIB UNSOED. He stated that this workshop is part of the laboratory’s commitment to providing competency development space for lecturers within FIB-UNSOED, in facing the challenges of the digital era. “We hope that activities like this will continue to be carried out sustainably and be able to produce real innovation in the implementation of learning,” he added.
During the session, participants gained hands-on experience in designing AI-based visual, audio, and interactive materials, as well as discussing the potential and ethics of using AI in the academic environment. The enthusiasm of the participants was evident from the variety of questions, collaboration, and the portfolio of learning media successfully produced at the end of the session.
With the holding of this workshop, FIB UNSOED reaffirms the importance of utilizing technology in designing engaging learning media.
