Purwokerto, 11 November 2024 – The Sastra Jepang study programme, Fakultas Ilmu Budaya (FIB) Universitas Jenderal Soedirman (Unsoed) held a Koordinasi Plan Do event focused on increasing student interest in internship programs in Japan. The event, held at Aula Bambang Lelono, was attended by students from various cohorts and lecturers from FIB Unsoed.
The Koordinasi Plan Do was organized to strengthen cooperation with Japan in the fields of education and training, as well as to enhance student competencies to prepare them for careers in the global market. According to the organizers, this cooperation also aims to support human resource development through transfer of knowledge and technology from Japan, which is known for its excellence in advanced technology and investment in various sectors in Indonesia.
The event was attended by Andika Irdianto as the main speaker, who provided a presentation on the benefits and experiences of internship in Japan through the Plan Do program. In addition to Sastra Jepang students from Unsoed, this program also attracted interest from other countries, such as Thailand, China, and Myanmar.
In the discussion session, participants showed high enthusiasm toward opportunities for internship in Japan. The event also served as an evaluation and coordination forum so that the Plan Do program could better align with student needs. The event included presentations, discussions, and a question-and-answer session that gave students the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the opportunities and challenges they would face during an internship in Japan.
It is hoped that similar activities can continue to be held annually to strengthen academic and cultural collaboration between Indonesia and Japan, as well as to open the way for Sastra Jepang students to pursue international experience in the land of Sakura.
