Held at the Aula Gedung Bambang Lelono, Fakultas Ilmu Budaya conducted the 1st and 2nd graduation proceedings (Yudisium) for the September 2023 graduation period on August 30, 2023. The yudisium ceremony, which began at 08.00, was attended by the Dean of Fakultas Ilmu Budaya, the vice deans, department heads, study programme coordinators, the yudisium proceedings committee, and graduating students for the September period.
During the proceedings, the Dean of FIB Unsoed, on behalf of the Rector of Unsoed, read and signed the graduation statement and Yudisium Decree along with its attachments. A total of 164 students participated in this graduation period. The graduating students comprised 59 students from S-1 Sastra Inggris, 18 students from S-1 Sastra Indonesia, 11 students from S-1 Sastra Jepang, 21 students from S-1 Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia, 32 students from S-1 Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris, 15 students from D-3 Bahasa Inggris, and 8 students from the D-3 Bahasa Mandarin study programme.
Of the 164 students, 76 graduated with cum laude distinction, 75 students graduated with very satisfactory distinction, 7 students graduated with satisfactory distinction, and 6 students were declared successful with passing distinction. The recipient of the best graduating student distinction in this yudisium period was Dian Ari Safitri (Student ID: J1A019021), a student from the S-1 Sastra Inggris study programme. Dian achieved the highest honour as a graduate with a GPA of 3.96.
Following the reading of the attachments to the graduation statement and Yudisium Decree, students from each study programme received graduation medals and congratulations from the dean, vice deans, department heads, and study programme coordinators. The ceremony concluded with a group photo session.
Through this yudisium proceeding, the Fakultas Ilmu Budaya family extends congratulations to the graduating students. May success always accompany every step of the graduates on their journey ahead.
