(Thursday, July 30, 2020) To support the Internship 1, Internship 2, and PLP programmes, the Language Education Programme held a socialization activity for these programmes conducted online through Google Meet. The activity was attended by School Principals, School Coordinators, Mentor Teachers, Faculty Supervisors, Programme Heads, and the Chair of the Language Education Programme. The activity focused on the technical implementation of activities to be carried out at all partner schools for the Internship 1, Internship 2, and PLP programmes. The event was opened with remarks from the Chair of the Language Education Programme, Ibu Tuti Purwati, S.S., M.Pd., who emphasized the importance of implementing the Internship 1, Internship 2, and PLP programmes despite the limited conditions. This certainly opened better opportunities for coordination and communication between the Language Education Programme and Partner Schools regarding the technical implementation of these programmes.
The event continued with explanations of the Technical aspects of Internship 1, Internship 2, and PLP. The technical explanation was conducted via the Google Meet link that had been provided. Ibu Nisa Roiyasa, S.Pd.,M.TESOL and Ibu Erna Wardani, S.Pd.,M.Hum. explained the mechanism for Internship 1. Ibu Dian Adiarti, M.Hum and Ibu Novita Pri Andini, M.Pd explained the mechanism for Internship 2. Pak M. Riyanton, M.Pd. and Pak Bivit Anggoro Prasetyo Nugroho, S.Pd.,M.Pd. explained the mechanism for PLP. The School Principals, School Coordinators, Mentor Teachers, and Faculty Supervisors gathered in separate rooms according to the programme they would be implementing. Following this, the Chair of the Language Education Programme closed the socialization event by opening a question-and-answer session for the representatives from partner schools to clarify the technical implementation of the Internship 1, Internship 2, and PLP programmes.
