Purwokerto, 20 January 2025 – The D3 Bahasa Mandarin Study Programme at Universitas Jenderal Soedirman (Unsoed) has once again expanded its network of cooperation through the initiation of an agreement with PT Sinau Service Indonesia. This activity forms part of the study programme’s strategic efforts to strengthen the implementation of the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi (Three Pillars of Higher Education) and to support the absorption of alumni into the workforce.
Held in the meeting room of the Fakultas Ilmu Budaya (FIB) Studio, the event took place on Monday, 20 January 2025. The meeting was attended by a number of key parties, including the Cooperation Team of the D3 Bahasa Mandarin Study Programme, the Head of the Department of East Asian Languages and Literature, the Coordinator of the D3 Bahasa Mandarin Study Programme, and representatives from PT Sinau Service Indonesia. The presence of these stakeholders underscored a shared commitment to fostering mutually beneficial collaboration.
In his remarks, the Coordinator of the D3 Bahasa Mandarin Study Programme expressed high hopes for this cooperation. “We believe that synergy with PT Sinau Service Indonesia can strengthen the learning process, enhance the relevance of graduates to industry needs, and open up wider opportunities for our students and alumni,” he said.
Representatives from PT Sinau Service Indonesia also expressed appreciation for the initiative taken by the D3 Bahasa Mandarin Study Programme. “We see great potential in Unsoed graduates, particularly from the D3 Bahasa Mandarin Study Programme. Through this cooperation, we are optimistic that we can make a real contribution to developing excellent and competent human resources,” they stated.
The scope of the cooperation being initiated covers the implementation of the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi, including education, research, and community service, as well as programmes that support increased absorption of alumni into the workforce. Through this agreement, both parties are expected to support one another in creating new innovations and strengthening the relationship between higher education institutions and industry.
The event proceeded smoothly, with an interactive and constructive discussion atmosphere. This agreement marks a good starting point in addressing the challenges of globalisation and the need for adaptive graduates ready to compete in the international job market.
With the successful initiation of this cooperation, the D3 Bahasa Mandarin Study Programme at Universitas Jenderal Soedirman continues to demonstrate its commitment to providing quality education and bridging students and alumni with broader professional opportunities.
