(Purwokerto, February 20, 2024) In the Dean’s meeting room, the Dean of Fakultas Ilmu Budaya and the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs received two students from the D3 Bahasa Mandarin study programme, the Head of the East Asian Language and Literature Department, and the Coordinator of the D3 Bahasa Mandarin Study Programme to send off two students participating in a Summer Course programme in Qingdao, China. The students participating in this programme are two students from the 2022 cohort, namely Trisa Apriliani and Muhammad Zidni. This programme is one of the International MBKM programmes implemented in the even semester of 2023/2024.
The Qingdao City University Summer Course programme in China represents a rare opportunity for students to gain learning experience abroad, explore new cultures, and broaden their academic horizons. These two students from the D3 Bahasa Mandarin study programme were selected to participate in this programme and are already prepared to learn more about the Chinese language and culture.
The send-off of these two Indonesian students is not only a source of pride for them and their families, but also strengthens the positive image of Indonesian students on the international stage. Of course, with the implementation of this International MBKM programme, it is evidence that Indonesian students have great potential and can compete globally. Hopefully, their achievements will inspire other students to take such steps in pursuing their academic dreams.
Hopefully, in the future there will be more international programmes that students can participate in.
