Internship Orientation is a mandatory activity attended by students in the 4th semester. This activity was conducted by the Final Project Commission Team of the D3 Bahasa Mandarin Study Programme FIB Unsoed, Thursday (19/5), held at Gedung Aula Bambang Lelono. Participants of the activity were students of the D3 Bahasa Mandarin Study Programme Class of 2020 with a total of 34 students, divided into two specializations: translation and tourism.
During this orientation, Head of the Final Project Commission Team, Dr. Dyah Tjaturrini, M.Si., explained how to implement internships ranging from proposal preparation, proposal seminar, to results seminar. In addition, the systematic approach to organizing the work was also explained in great detail by her. This is hoped to be the students’ focus in order to avoid errors when writing both the proposal and final report. According to her, every stage is important and it is the responsibility of students to be able to complete their Final Project.
As a closing, Coordinator of the D3 Bahasa Mandarin Study Programme, Nunung Supriadi, B.Ed., M.Hum., hopes that the students can maximize their internship activities and produce good reports. She provided direction and also encouragement for the students to complete the internship and final report on time. According to her, the objective of the internship must be able to create good synergy between students, supervisors, and the internship workplace and be in line with the vision and mission of the study programme.
