On Monday, February 5, 2024, all faculty members of the Pendidikan Bahasa Jepang (PBJ) study programme, Fakultas Ilmu Budaya (FIB) Unsoed, participated in the coordination meeting of the Language Education Department, FIB Unsoed. The coordination meeting, chaired directly by the head of the language education department Etin Pujihastuti, S.S., M.Pd. and secretary of the language education department Dian Adiarti, S.Pd., M.Hum., discussed several agenda items including the performance achievements of the language education department, as well as the distribution of performance contracts to programme coordinators (korprodi) in the language education department. This coordination meeting also marked the inaugural meeting for the PBJ study programme under the language education department.
On that occasion, PBJ programme coordinator Dr. Haryono, S.S., M.Pd., communicated to the department several technical matters related to the operational aspects of the PBJ study programme, including requests for institutional email addresses for the study programme, faculty administrative status in sister, sihura and similar matters. The coordination meeting also addressed several performance targets that the PBJ study programme will attempt to achieve over the next year, to support the language education department programme with fairly ambitious performance targets.
It is hoped that this inaugural coordination meeting will serve as a good beginning for the PBJ study programme’s contribution to the language education department and also to Fakultas Ilmu Budaya which oversees it.
